Gork Irongut is an immense creature who can easily annihilate a line of powerful enemies, using a combination of all his abilities to achieve both immortality and immense retaliatory blows. In order to defeat, Gork Irongut, the enemy needs to reduce a massive amount of hp, wait out Thick Headed, and sacrifice creatures to the immensity of a Desperate Strength enhanced Counterattack.
An interesting interaction with Gork Irongut is the use of Guardian Angel. When Gork Irongut dies, he retains the attack gained from Desperate Strength due to the mechanics of Guardian Angel's health restoration. As a result, Gork can retain his terrifying power while regaining all his health simultaneously.
On Awakening, Gork Irongut gains enhanced health and Carnivore, which allows him to heal without compromising his attack.
